Welcome – Preparing For Your Stay

Your Stay Is Booked

Everything worth knowing before you arrive

Thank you for booking with us. This page covers the practical things guests usually ask about before arriving in Gouvia — getting here, what to pack, and how to get the most out of the area.

Getting here

From Corfu Airport (CFU)

Corfu International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away by road, traffic depending. Taxis are available at the terminal without booking. If you would prefer a transfer waiting for you, tell us your flight number using the form at the bottom of this page and we will arrange it.

By ferry

Arriving at Corfu Port from Igoumenitsa or Italy puts you about 15 minutes from the hotel by taxi.

Driving

There is parking at the hotel. Gouvia is signposted north from Corfu Town on the coastal road.

About our location

A quiet corner of Corfu. We sit in 32,000 m² of olive and palm gardens away from the noise, which is exactly why most of our guests choose us — and worth knowing in advance if you were expecting a resort strip. Gouvia village, the marina and the tavernas are a short walk. Corfu Old Town is a few minutes by taxi or bus. Many guests never hire a car; others like having one for exploring the north of the island. Either works.

What to pack

For the daySwimwear, high-factor sun cream, a hat and sunglasses. Corfu sun in high season is stronger than it feels in the breeze.
For the eveningSmart casual clothes and proper shoes for dinner at Tenedos — see the dress code below.
FootwearComfortable shoes for the Old Town, which is cobbled and hilly in places.
BeachWater shoes are useful on some of the pebbled beaches nearby.
MedicationBring anything you need with you; the nearest pharmacy is in the village.

Dining and dress code

Breakfast and dinner are served in our main restaurant, Tenedos. Comfortable, casual clothing is fine at breakfast. For dinner we ask guests to wear smart casual clothing with appropriate footwear.

Please do not enter the dining area in shorts, flip-flops, bathrobes or swimwear at any time. The pool bar has no dress code — come as you are.
