During these difficult times humanity is going through and the great challenge we are all called upon to face after the outbreak of COVID-19, the Greek Government announced that all seasonal and city hotels openings be postponed until mid-May 2021 , in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

At the Art Hotel Debono we are taking all necessary precaution measures and we boost our hygiene standards following all the measures and guidance provided by local authorities regarding COVID-19 virus in line with the guidelines  and World Health Organization, so that we  ensure  all our guests will have a safe and pleasant stay during their holidays.

For individual reservations, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow changes to alternative dates.

A Credit Voucher will be issued for the full paid amount which can be used for future reservations within 18 months period from the initial arrival date in compliance with Greek legislation.

For reservations made through another travel site or any other travel channel, please contact them for information and further assistance.

We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.

The wellbeing of our guests and associates is of paramount importance.

Our Cancellation Policy:

In response to changing marketplace conditions, Art Hotel Debono is committed to ensuring our customers experience flexibility during these challenging times.

Art Hotel Debono is implementing the following policies:

For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes or cancellation without any charge up to 7 days prior to arrival, * as long as the change or cancellation is made by May 30, 2021 Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences.

For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates, between today and May 30, 2021, we will allow the reservation to be changed or canceled at no charge up to 7 days before your scheduled arrival date.* Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.

We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and associates. On a daily basis, our hotel is working to ensure that it meets the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Our hotels’ health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures. Specific steps Art Hotel Debono is taking include:

  • Associate Health, Safety and Knowledge: Hotel associates – and their own health, safety and knowledge – are essential to an effective cleaning program. Here are some ways we’re supporting them:
  • Hand Hygiene:Proper and frequent handwashing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. In our daily meetings, our team is reminded that cleanliness starts with this simple act. It’s important for their health and that of our guests.
  • Ongoing Training:In addition to training on housekeeping and hygiene protocols, hotel associates are also completing enhanced COVID-19 awareness training.
  • Real Time Information:Art Hotel Debono and its teams are on standby 24/7 to support the hotel and coordinate with local and regional authorities.

Cleaning Products and Protocols: Our hotel use cleaning products and protocols which are effective against viruses, including:

  • Guest Rooms:Hotel uses cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items.
  • Public Spaces:Hotel has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms and even room keys.
  • Back of House:In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” hotel is increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, locker rooms, laundry rooms and staff offices.
  • Property: Hotel has been stepping up hosting by providing safe environments for our guests. Important supplies, including cleaning products, masks, gloves and anti-microbial wipes.
